The Gentle Rain | Luiz Bonfa
Good Evening from Berlin,
here is something for the quiet days: "The Gentle Rain" by Luiz Bonfa. I realize that the steel string guitar is the thing on this forum and as an electric / jazz guitar player I totally agree and enjoy the guitars and songs presented around here. Still, if you feel like dustin' off the nylon and play something quiet maybe this is for you. I hope you enjoy it! Last edited by jribbentrop; 12-01-2021 at 02:27 PM. |

Greetings from New York...!!!
Beautiful music and great performance!
I am trying to learn more pieces from the Bonfa, Jobim, Baden Powell, and Dilermando Reis group. I love the feel of that music. What type of guitar is that you're playing?

Thanks Guys, glad you liked it!
@Mike This is a Romanillos Model by German luthier Christoph Sembdner. As I am a (luthier-made) guitar addict like many around here (with a modest collection though), I put my current line-up in the signature below. ________________________________ 2017 Poljakoff "S-1" 2000 Sembdner "Romanillos" 2010ish Sonntag Archtop 1980 Gibson ES175 https://www.youtube.com/c/JoachimRibbentropGuitar |
