Happy St Davids Day.
Welsh trivia: 1) St Davids in Pembrokeshire is the smallest city in the UK (pop 1600) 2) Wales has more castles per square mile than any other country in Europe. (600 in total) 3) The names of the Cambrian, Silurian and Ordovician geological periods are Welsh in origin. Cambrian being a Latinised name for Wales. Ordovician & Silurian named after celtic tribes. 4) David is not the only Patron Saint of Wales. Tom Jones comes a close second. Even at 80 years of age the guy has a powerful voice! 5) Wales is on for the 2021 Rugby Six Nations Grand Slam. Victories over Ireland, England and Scotland. Just the French and Italians to go! |

Belated happy Saint Dai’s day. I’m a Welshman but I moved down under 17 years ago. Miss decent beer, the Swans and the rugby!
My kids in their Aussie accents love to tell anyone they are half Welsh.

I'm an adult adoptee and I just found out a few months ago that everyone on my paternal side is Welsh. 3/1 was my first St. David's Day. Looking forward to figuring this all out.
