Default The right guitar for the job- X7 content

It's good to have lots of choices. I've always had a fondness for smallish guitars, and sometimes you discover things about yourself in the process of playing. For me that meant discovering that I prefer short scale guitars. However, small guitars are often considered for travel, especially carbon fiber. While that may make sense on the surface, sometimes the smaller guitar is just the right tool for the job. Make sure to listen with headphones if possible and you're welcome for the earworm in advance .

*BTW, this is not my performance but rather Daddy Stovepipe*

That was absolutely splendid - and, frankly, one of the best advertisements for the X7 I've ever seen.

Well done!

(Jody, have you seen this? )

Well that is nice...my (almost) new X7 doesn't sound nearly that good! Through no fault, I should add, of the guitar.

Terrific, Steel... I really enjoyed that! Love the style, the playing and the guitar. And that's a delightful piece. I agree with you... the X-7s are wonderful guitars. Easy to play, comfortable and still sound like a million bucks. I've enjoyed mine for several years. Great job!

One of the nicest plays I've seen on this forum--clean, precise, a bit tricky, and fun. Thank you very much.

Now, how about some demonstrations of your other CF instruments?

Hi All. I'm glad you are enjoying the post but I wish I could claim it is my performance. This is a guy with internet handle "daddystovepipe". His entire catalog of playing on his YouTube channel is chock full of great playing and he always puts a smile on my face.

He also had tabs/lessons of much of his stuff in fingerstyle blues, ragtime and even some more jazz influenced stuff if you want to check it out. I mostly posted because the X7 is a guitar I've been eyeing, especially since the redesign. I wanted to post how good the guitar sounds in a certain style and didn't make it clear that it isn't my performance. Sorry about that . I've edited the post.

I'd like to hear him do an X7 vs X10 comparison.
