Default Poll: Sonic Difference between a short T-Shirt versus long Sleeve Sweater?

There are those who claim a difference in sonic's, in How you Hold a guitar. Some like to have only the top binding touching the chest. Claiming more sustain & overtones. I certainly notice a difference.
I would like to take a simple Yes or No poll, to see how many people notice a difference in sonic's from what they are wearing. Specifically comparing a Short Sleeve T-Shirt to a Thick Long Sleeve Sweater. That is of course. If your rest your arm on the binding.
For those who rest their arm on the binding while playing, do you notice a difference in tone, sustain, overtones when you wear a Long Sleeve Sweater as compared to a Short Sleeve T-Shirt?

I didn't vote but when you are sitting behind the guitar playing, you don't really hear it very well anyway so it would be better to ask someone sitting in front of the guitar. It doesn't matter what they are wearing though, unless it's ear-muffs!

I didn't vote because the choices didn't include 'totally nude'.

I'm wearing a Stanford hoodie today over an Alaskan Hardware flannel shirt, and the acoustics are much better than yesterday when I wore a Cornell hoodie over a Duluth Trading flannel.

Can't honestly remember the last time I played guitar in a t-shirt. It's probably happened a few times.

Is it against forum rules to chant, "Go Cardinal, beat Notre Dame"?

(Did not cast a vote on the poll, btw. Game day.)

I don't know, you might be better off rooting for the Stanford Band. ND is 10-1, the Cardinal 3-8. Go Band!

Yeah, a heavy sweatshirt or sweater can dull the volume and tone a bit. I pull the sleeve up when I play or use a short sleeve shirt.

And, GO BEARS!

Well I don't know - what about long sleeved tees? Sweater vests? Acrylic yarn vs merino wool vs organic yak? And then there's all the color combos...

Plaid vs solid vs natural undyed with lanolin?

Who knew guitar playing could be so complex?

Good call, but I hate it when the guitar sticks you.

Noted! I imagine cold winter Dublin mornings would be as dangerous as Australian summers in the sun.
