Default NGD Emerald Content

8:18 A.M. Out for Delivery
Out For Delivery Today
Charlottesville, VA, United States

I've initiated a personal policy of allowing myself to purchase a single guitar per year at Christmas in order to limit my previously ever-expanding GAS. I ordered this one in September, but didn't expect arrival until closer to 12/25. The words above are the ones that I've waited so patiently to read. Will disclose guitar's identity when it arrives...

Congratulations! The same thing happened to me. The guitar came much earlier than I’d expected. I hoped for delivery in early December, but it came in early November. Enjoy!

I've previously ordered several Emeralds, but this one's shipping/tracking was a bit outside the norm. Kevin emailed me that it shipped after I inquired because it hadn't appeared in last week's shipping video. I had paid the extra $100 for "courier shipping" but didn't receive UPS tracking information until late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The extra $100 for "courier shipping" was a no-brainer for me. It shipped last Thursday, and is due to arrive today which is pretty amazing to travel from County Donegal to Charlottesville and also go through US Customs, especially in today's screwy shipping/supply chain climate...

Well, that's exciting! Looking forward to the NGD. I'm on the cusp of ordering one myself.

I thought you might be back in the fold one of these days

Looking forward to seeing what you’ve treated yourself to!

Very nice how the dark bevel frames it. Almost looks like its sticking out above the sound board.

Lovely! Looking forward to an "arrived" post... after you've had some time to yourself to play it, of course. Congrats!

Quite telling since you have owned Emerald's previously and are now coming back. One thing that anyone who has owned a molded guitar with bevels and sculpting understands is how important comfort suddenly becomes- all other considerations just icing on the cake.

Beautiful choice RP. It's gorgeous!

That’s a very classy, elegant instrument. Hopefully this one will stick around for a while!

Well, that's the plan; but then that's always the plan. It just arrived, and it's real, and it's spectacular. The tone is much warmer than I'd remembered from my previous X20 which was the old model. I kind of feel like Goldilocks since I've previously owned several Emeralds. One was too ____; another was too ______; but this one feels just right. Thanks to Kevin, Alistair and the gang for bearing with me and producing the one that was just right.....
