Would love to pull into Nazareth one of these days. Will probably wait (weight) until the factory is open for tours. Great news in any case.

Still too soon for me. I'll check back in the spring.

They basically set up a gift shop in the old factory, nothing more.

So the Guitar Maker's Connection is still shut down? Pity.

I'm hoping the factory tours will be back by the spring.

Got room for an old archtop that needs repairs? My bridge is sinking low.

Yes, but is the Guitar Maker's Connection open? I can only afford part of a new Martin.

But think how fun it would be to purchase a Martin headstock and bolt it on to that Stratocaster of yours.

LOL.

In all seriousness, the GMC is a treasure trove of parts for hobby builders. Some of their wares are in the online 1833 shop but if you walk in there's actually a lot of one-off stuff. I was there about 5 years ago and the staff was super helpful. The customer service there actually impressed me more than the factory tour too.

Interesting. I lived in Carlisle PA for 19 years, and only went there once. But I did go. After 19 years in Central Pennsylvania, I am happy to have relocated back in 2018 to Northern Idaho where everything is now, and has always been open for business.

Unfortunately, I won't be holding my breath on this one...
