Well I guess it’s NGD next week! Living in Hawaii sucks because free shipping doesn’t apply, but still a great deal. |

An all solid-wood Breedlove for 5 bills. Great deal!

Yeah just couldn’t pass it up! And I think she looks great in all-hog.

Thanks man! Sure is on its way! And yes I’ll get my acoustic chops up for the review! Been playing my electrics almost exclusively for the past few months. [emoji23] |

So I just realized this is my first non local guitar purchase. Hawaii is hot and humid, and the Midwest right now is getting cold and dry, plus I have no idea of the conditions this guitar will be traveling. I’ve read I should not even open the box, much less tune it from right away to a few days. How long should I let the guitar acclimate?

A luthier from Collings gave me a great suggestion, if the locks on the case feel like room temperature, open the guitar. If the locks are cold, don't open the case.

It’s a mid-grade Breedlove, I’d be surprised if it comes with a gig bag. |

Once you open it up tune the guitar. No reason to wait a few days to tune it. |

Congrats, it’s a great deal for all solid wood Breedlove. However, I doubt it comes with a hardshell case. Maybe a gig bag but the info I get from their website is “none” for the case. I would ask the folks at Sweetwater if I were you before it gets shipped at all.

For example, a guitar coming from the USA to Australia will sit in various facilities (like Customs) both before and after it's flight.
