So I got within 6 miles of my new X-30 today...... Six miles above it to be exact. Directly over Donegal..... doing 500 mph...... Sigh.

That GK looks like a nice guitar. My custom nylon all mahogany 000C Martin takes care of my nylon fix....
Welcome to the CF club. They are a great bunch of guys here. And although I'm currently sans CF myself, I've owned a few over the years! Royal Ebony is one of the best veneers out there for the Emeralds. It really pops with no need of flash photography or direct sun/stage lights like many of the darker veneers. You done good. Can't wait to see it!

I'm really digging that custom Martin all-hog nylon. I'd love to hear more about it, scale, nut and string spacing, neck shape, pickup, etc.

Kirk Sand has a mahogany thin-bodied, hollow, electric guitar that would be a perfect match for this Martin (but a bit more expensive).

Same specs as the OOOC-Nylon...... Just all mahogany and no cutaway. It's a hybrid, so radius neck and a 1-7/8" nut, with an E-E of 1-5/8" 12 frets to the body, scale is about 26-3/4" Neck thickness at the nut about 7/8" Fishman Matrix VT on board electronics with a very discrete vol/tone inside the sound hole. Strung with the Magnificos the thing is pretty darn nice to play. For reference:

According to Chloe it's THIS Wednesday. This guitar was on the Black Friday sale and is extant.

Meanwhile I've Reverbed almost enough of the dust collectors here to pay for half of it. Got a few more listed if they go I'll be about break even. Phew.

And on edit.... I made a spreadsheet of what I have bought, own, sold...... Don't do that. As said before, I call it rent. Actually it's not too bad. I own
a $15,000 pile of guitars for about $500/year. Lol.

Good point ... 2020 prolly so the usual 2 to 156 month wait... nice... I’ll send it when I’m done... in case they ship it here first which doesn’t always happen ... by mistake of course. But then it only takes 3 days to shop it Az.

That might be the best advice I've seen in a while....
