A funny thing happened yesterday
I met a guy named Martin Taylor. He didn't know the 1st thing about guitars. I told him he should join AGF anyway because he had the perfect screen name.

He's a gentleman and a really nice guy. I had a chance to chat with him after a performance here last year- I'd mentioned coming to hear him a few years back, part of a series that was done with the audience on the stage with him- he remembered better than I, exactly when it was.
He is probably the best solo jazz guitarist you will ever hear. I think he knows guitars pretty well, too. He has a signature model from Peerless. And for those of you who don't know from jazz, he's friends with Tommy Emmanuel, and there's a video on YT of him playing with Tommy on his borrowed D-35. |

Once at my Masonic lodge I overheard two unfamiliar older guys introducing themselves to each other. The first guy said “I’m Tim Conway.” The other guy said Hi, I’m Ossie Osborne.” I had to chuckle. Neither one was lying or kidding—they just weren’t the famous people with the same names.

I know a guy with the last name of Taylor that did one of his grad school projects on the modes of vibration on the top of his Martin D-28.
