I cannot imagine Martin doing herringbone that points up on the left side and down on the right side (not reversing direction at the centerline). I have seen that on various guitars over the years, but not Martins.
The quality of the work looks OK, but I'll bet it wasn't done at the factory. |

For that money buy an Authentic and play on.

For curiosity sake, is it not possible to go straight to Martin with the serial number and images? I don't know if Covid would effect it but I would call cust service with the serial number and ask if you can send pics to them. I've called within the last year and gotten right through. Not sure if it would be that simple right now. I would love to know their opinion.
