Default Where do you get your weather info?

The Weather Channel was it for me for a while. Over time it got bogged down with videos and ads and all kinds of crap that slowed it down considerably on my laptop.

Then Accuweather came along. It was fast, relevant...loved it.

Now, it too, has become a mess. Slow to load, locks up....arrrgggg!

Are these the best two choices? (Admittedly, they do work ok on my phone and iPad, but my laptop is no bueno....)

National Weather Service. Search for your city, click on "get detailed info," then bookmark that. It's got local radar, satellite at various resolutions, you name it.

I use the Dark Sky app on my phone. It's been very reliable for me.

I like to call the app on my iPhone "InAccuweather." At my age the pain in my feet is a better predictor of the weather, but that loud beep when I get a weather alert than affects someplace that's over 10 miles from where I am is certainly informative but not necessarily helpful other than to tell me "don't go there."

www.weather.com
Then enter zip code.

Gives temp, "feels like" temp factoring in wind chill, UV index, RH, percent chance of precipitation, wind velocity and direction

Gives forecast for today, 5-day, and 10-day, weekend, and monthly.
It also gives todays forecast for each hour.
