Default Yesssssss

The guitar is finally finished after quite a few delays. I thought you might like to see the finished result. It's Alpine Swiss spruce master grade top with 40-year-old master-grade Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The neck is a five piece of Brazilian Rosewood, flamed maple, and Macassar ebony. The Bindings and bevel are Koa.

The sound and looks and sustain and volume are out of this world, better than I've ever heard!

I will make sure to record some clips next week!

Glad you're happy with how it sounds!! I'm always nervous that I'm going to be disappointed when I devote a lot of time and effort to a project... and that was an off the scales project Can't wait to hear some clips!

The superlatives in my vocabulary do not do this incredible instrument justice.
I'm totally dumb struck at the attention to detail, craftsmanship and beauty on display.

I've seen the term "playable art" used in this subforum a few times. This guitar I think, is the very definition of playable art.

Sublime, incredible, gorgeous.

Congratulations on a stunning conclusion to an amazing process and thank you for documenting it for us.

David

Make sure you do; I'd love to hear if this sounds as good as it looks and I know most others will also.

This is a recording of the guitar, played by the amazingly talented and incomparable Arnaldo Lopez! (http://www.arnaldolopez.nl/Arnaldo_Lopez_NL/Home.html)

I am thrilled with the sound:
