Default PSA - How to Christmas shop for your wife

I've posted this before, but I've noticed over the years that guys quite often have a hard time Christmas shopping for their wives. I've created a system I call the "Christmas Shopping Food Groups" to make shopping for your wife easier, in fact fun and rewarding! You can read up on my system, HERE.

There's actually been a flurry of articles dropping over at my website lately,. HERE is another article I wrote about literally foiling rust on stainless steel screws and hardware.

Enjoy!

Bob

Even easier is to ask her for a list of all the things she'd want and then you choose from the list. That's the way I used to do it with my ex and she was never disappointed...in the presents at least.

My wife gives me a list and has our joint credit card set up to alert her whenever I make an online purchase. If I don't buy it then she goes and gets it herself. Giving is a sham.

I just go in, pick out a blender and I’m done! What’s the big deal?

Although I have chosen many gifts for her that she likes a lot over the Last 33 years.................She likes CASH, or gift cards to her favorite stores.

She's our band's rhythm guitarist - makes it real easy...

That's a great idea! My wife has enough vacuums after all these years.

Buy her a guitar. She may not play it … but YOU will.

Radical idea...listen to her during the year and make an effort.

Hehe - this makes me wonder: have many of you read the "Five Love Languages?"

Gift giving is supposed to be one of them, but I've found after many lukewarm receptions to my "thoughtful" gifts (which included bake ware one year, which went over like a lead balloon) that "acts of service" is more akin to my wife's true love language.

...so, to rephrase my answer usually the biggest gift is to scratch something big off the "Honey Do" list every so often - and look busy the rest of the time.

I'll just suggest that if you give her "the gift of Peloton", you'll be sleeping alone the rest of your life.
