ebay question of item and tax

i bought a kustom monitor on ebay for $22, listed as KPC10M- upon looking at it the monitor plate says KSC10M- i havent received it yet, but dont think this is an issue for the price (just hope the speaker is ok) second thing its from ohio and i live in PA, ohio tax is 5.75% but he charged me $2.20, again, this seems double the tax rate if he can even charge it, i know this is penney money, but just kind or irks me with the model # and tax thing

You get charged the PA sales tax rate, not the OH rate.

Ebay, not the seller should be collecting and paying the tax. Sounds like something is wrong here. I'd contact ebay and ask them what's up.

I think I would have asked about it before paying for the invoice, if it bothered me. Internet taxes are a fact.

the model listed is incorrect and the tax was overcharged, but as long as the speaker is full working (as stated) i wont have an issue with things, but just dont feel right about this purchase the way it unfolded

It looks like things changed in some areas as of Nov 1, 2019 so that could be why people are confused.

i paid the tax so there's no understanding, anyway-the speaker came, its in decent used shape and functions well with a good speaker, so im happy with it
