When do we get a carbon fiber resonator guitar?

I use a heavy brass slide in situatons where the action is high - eg the resos, and a genuine bottleneck (I make and occasionally sell them) where the action is low and I really don't want to hammer the frets. I prefer the brass slide for tone, and it is also quieter.

In the square neck form they sound great to my ear. I Happen to have several fine dobros. They are different, but I tend to attribute that to the biscuit vs. Spider style of cone.
