Default Steve Rapson's book

Having read the acticle in the latest Wood and Steel, feels like the first time, by Pat kirtley. He recommends a book by Steve Rapson, The Art of the Solo Performer, available through Amazon.com, which when I logged in they said shipping time will be 1-2 months if in fact this book is still available and then it would take about 2 weeks to determine if it is available! Sounds like a great book, lots of good reviews but seems like long time to wait for a shipment on a book. Anyone know if this book is out of print ?

You might want to try ordering direct from Steve at
www.soloperformer.com I found the book to be very interesting and informative.

Dave Alvin (not a great singer but great songs and fine guitar playing) - King of California and Blackjack David are best CD's of his songs. His Public Domain CD is good (a grammy winner - not that that means anything) but its traditional "public domain" folk music.

Tom Russell - good songs with exceptional guitar work by his sideman Andrew Hardin.
