Default Riffstation is no more. Alternatives?

I'm bummed. Had over 500 songs in my songbook.

Site intimates that they are exploring a membership model, but I'm not hopeful, altho I would pay for this type of site.

Are there any other sites like this I don't know about??

thanks...

BTW: this was a site that provided video/audio of a song with chords and capo options. Chords moved along (timing) so you could see changes.

Chordify.net

While I have used riffstation since even before Fender took over, I don't like it as much.
It blocks a lot of YouTube videos that have copyright and also it can't find songs that are not categorized as songs.

Chordify is much better.
You can simply put YouTube link.

Ultimate guitar is an option but pro version costs you.

Song Surgeon ver. 5 has chord recognition. I’m not sure how similar they are other than that. If you do a google search for song surgeon vs Riffstation there is a short article that is at the top of the list. It’s published on the Song Surgeon website though, so obviously not from an unbiased source.

I too used Riffstation often, but there are a couple if alternatives I've found this week, plus some upside on Riffstation...

1) Chrordify was already mentioned (https://chordify.net). And, there's another alternative called ChordU (https://chordu.com).

2) Riffstation is now offering their software for free (as of yesterday). This is a PC/Mac app that allows you to import audio files and it will report chords. It used to be $35.

I looked at the site after reading the original post,...... They are allowing a *free* download of the riffstation program, allows you to insert any mp3 file and voila. you have your chords to play along with just like the site had. It was only a quick look so if interested check it out.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. Having it local is in many ways more convenient than web based.
