Look, you can tell from my signature that I am a MAJOR SCGC Fan.
Your photos of that Eric Skye Custom are as handsome as any Santa Cruz I have ever seen.......I LOVE the slothead picture...Pure artistry.
If (and I'm sure it does) it sounds Half as good as it looks you have an absolute keeper.

That's a stunning back on that thing. The wood in the middle almost looks like a really long-legged spider. Nice upgrades. Long wait. Must have been torture. I bought mine off the rack. I don't have the proper superlatives to describe it. You are indeed something like the 4th AGFer in the last few weeks to have gotten one of these.

What a beautiful guitar!

There is no question that if I could afford a high end guitar, it would be a Santa Cruz. I've never seen one in person, but every last one of them I've seen photos of, regardless of body shape, is spectacular. Well done.

Congratulations on the successful spec, build, and buy experience. What a fantastic result. I own a '96 Collings 000HCE which has many similarities to yours -- 12 fret, cutaway --though of course they are not identical. I have found that the combo of 12-fret design and cutaway results in an utterly phenomenal playing/sounding instrument. Santa Cruz builds fantastic instruments in this body size and guitar type, so I am sure yours sounds wonderful in the present moment and will just get better and better. Wise choice and beautiful result.

They're also light, loud and lush.
