Default NFL Week 2

Week 2 kicks off tonight with New York Giants playing Washington. What players and story lines are you following?

Can the Seattle secondary hold up against the Titans receivers. Can they contain Henry.

Same thing after every first Eagles victory of the year….”Are these guys for real?”

Typically, disappointment follows….

Another early divisional game for the Patriots that they must win. I know it’s early in the season but being 0-2 on the division can prove to be troublesome later on.

Washington pulled it out of their back pocket. Took a late penalty to help 'em out but I am happy for them. Defense and special teams need to step up across the league (ask Green Bay for instance). I agree with Neeto that the Patriots need this win next game. Confidence building on both sides of the ball and a young quarterback that can feel good about himself. Did I digress? (Probably) but it's all about the Pats at the end of the day! (Stop throwing things as we removed the chicken wire earlier in the afternoon.)

Steelers/Raiders. I expect the Raiders fans have glitzier outfits now that they're in Vegas.

Question Hmmmmmm.....

Will the 9'rs defense show up? Can the Raiders wear out their super tight end? Will 17 games be too much for everyone? Play on...

I hear ya. I still think the Bills will win the division this year and I'm not sure the Pats can get a wild card spot but you're right, we don't want to be 0-2.

I just looked it up. Last time the Patriots went 0-2 to start the season was 2001... and they went on to win their first Super Bowl. I can't recall the QB that took the helm and won that SB but he's probably long forgotten by now.

Are the Packers Super Bowl contenders or a last place team?

I hope Aaron Rodgers hasn't lost his game day focus over the past few months with the animosity between himself and ownership. Game 2 will be telling.

I still can't believe that Brady went to Tampa Bay and not only did he lead the team to their first playoff appearance in 13 years and their first playoff win in 18 years but also won the SB and MVP.

Yep and made Aryans look good in the process. This put to rest the argument that Brady is the GOAT because of Belichick.

That is still amazing, isn't it? Who's Belichick?
