Awesome, congrats! We retired a few months ago and we’ve had a motorhome for about three years now, and three travel trailers before that. I bought the Yamaha in my sig specifically for RV travel. Have fun!

Thanks Papac! I have a nice little Fender all picked out for the trailer too!

That looks like big time fun. Look at those mountains on the horizon. Holy cow!

Do you folks call them trailers or caravans?
Caravans here - a trailer here is towed behind your car but used to haul stuff.

So cool!
We have a jayco hybrid. Kids still love camping, especially on the Oregon coast. Talk about memory making!

I agree 100%, hairpuller. My kids still talk of their childhood trips with great fondness. I am hoping to recreate this with my grandchildren!

I love being retired. The clock is no pressure anymore. Big decisions like, what should I have for lunch? in which gym should I work out today? what time should I take my nap?

My grandkids are growing like weeds and the missus and I decided to do something we did when my children were young, and that is take them RV’ing!
So this week we traded in the Hyundai Santa Fe for the larger Palisade with a tow package and then picked out a perfect Jayco 22’ ultra light travel trailer that will be ready for pickup in one week.
The maiden voyage is Sept 10th to beautiful Barnagat Bay on the Jersey shore. The kids are going to love this.
Hey congrats. But let me introduce a word of caution. Being where we are we are we are one of the most desired RV destinations in the country. Tetons and the Greater Yellowstone should be on everyones "to do list"

That said an inordinate t number of RV rollovers seem to be SUV's towing pull trailers . Just something to consider ......

That and of course Do not approach the wildlife
