Default Cold Frosty Morning (arr. Eric Skye)

Here's my take on another of Eric's series of fiddle tunes. Hope you like it.

Real nice, Phil. Been messing with some of Eric's things myself lately.

Thanks Skip. I'm definitely hooked with these at the moment. Clearly for good bluegrass players they are technically not that difficult and of course not played at breakneck speed but it's the melody and clarity of tone that I like and that's what I'm striving for.

Take it from me, you’ve nailed it.

Very nice tune and playing!

These are lovely, Phil.

You’ve inspired me to purchase the lessons. I’m going to work with them on guitar first, to get the hang of using a pick again. Then I want to try them on my Emerald Amicus, which is crying out for material like this.

Thanks David and that sounds like a plan. Hope you enjoy learning them.

Thank you. The guitar is a custom Brook Lyn made by Brook Guitars here in England for me in 2013. Its a 12 fret, 00 size with a European spruce top and figured mahogany back and sides.
