Great shipping video this week. Glad to hear Alistair and the production staff are getting some well-deserved time off, after the big sale of the past couple weeks.

Congrats to whoever is about to get that Synergy at about 17:35. Another "Freak Maple" veneer, a veneer that I think is my new favorite. Just stunning and the perfect medium for that much tension on the top.

Watching that Synergy, I was wondering where does a person get string sets for it? It sure does sound good and looks very impressive.

Also, by limiting the shipping videos to just the custom orders makes a lot of sense. As another poster commented, this week's video could have been hours long otherwise and showing stock guitars wouldn't make much sense since you can see them on the site already. It is interesting to see what combinations of features customers come up with using the 3D builder.

Not many options but Newtone seems to be Emerald's go-to for all instrument oddities. They have strings for the Synergy and Amicus.

Stephen Bennett (of whom I'm a big fan of) also has some on his site at harpguitarmusic.com

Thank you for posting this week’s shipping video!

I’m “Tom in North Carolina” - the first guitar, Black Limba X 10 nylon slimline with LOTs of custom specs. This will be Emerald #7 for us in our home. We sold 3 of them: X5, X7, X10 nylon string, and I want to sell the the nylon string Kestrel. I’m keeping the Amicus and the first nylon string X10, which was the very first my string guitar that Alistair built, in 2008 / 2009.

Congrats!! I picked up an X10 during the 25th anniversary and it sounds fantastic acoustically! It's also super comfortable to play with a big sound.

Mine looks just like the black one but has the Ghost Piezo + Krivo which is a fantastic pickup combination when plugging in.

I think the X10 is the "sleeper" in the entire Emerald line of guitars!

Is yours the red one or the black one?

Thanks! Mine is the black one. Shorter scale and no pickups. I really dig the Krivo pickup. Almost got one. I just needed an acoustic only for a dry mountain environment that I would never take a nice wood guitar to. I prefer the X10 over the X7 myself for a smaller guitar. You're right about it being the "sleeper" in the lineup!
