Plan a day trip and drive to Elderly in Lansing, MI.
(Esp. if you're looking for a HD-28 - they usually had anywhere from 7 to 12 in stock to pick from. )
Call ahead and ask.

Just looked him up. He's in Athens, about an hour away.

This place did a nice job on my Lakewood. Don't know whether/not they're a Martin warranty shop.

That's the place! I took my Taylor in there 8 years ago for an acoustic pick up install. They were great. I'll check them out monday.

Oops I thought you were buying one.
I guess I should have read the title to the tread a little slower.
Good luck with the set up.
