Default European vs Canadian pricing question

I'm interested in a handmade Spanish guitar. I've seen it on European websites for 1000 euros. That's about 1500 Canadian. But I can only find one place in all of North America selling it for 1900 Canadian. Is this reasonable?

It would help greatly if you can tell us what maker and maker's model of classical guitar you are looking at and perhaps why you are interested in this particular guitar.
In your price range, there are so many good classical guitars on the market today, especially with market saturated with guitars for sale.
You can get best value if you are willing to consider something that is used and good condition. There is nothing too stressful about buying online if you ask for generous return policy included in the sale.
For example, I saw recently a Takamine high end C136 spruce for $700.
Good luck in your search.
