Default Eric Clapton Unplugged book

Hey Guys!

I was looking to buy the tab book that goes with Eric Clapton's Unplugged album. Went to Amazon and found that there are 2 "versions". One says it's the "easy" version and the other one, I guess, the "regular" version. I am just wondering if anyone owns either one of these and can tell me what the difference is. I understand that neither one is a "note by note" transcript of what clapton played on the album...is that true?

Thanks a bunch guys!

I didn't even know there was an "Easy" version, but the one that I bought (also at Amazon) says "Recorded Version", with the notation "Authentic transcriptions with notes and tablature".

And it's not easy.

Red face i own the authentic version

and it is pretty much a note for note transcription of the actual performance. the songs on it are extremely challenging and it has taken me years to come even close to what clapton accomplished on that recording. it is an excellent source for someone who wants to get into fingerpicking or good down home blues action. highly recommended!!! buy it, it will provide hours if not years of satisfaction.

Sounds good. I must check it out.

Also worth remembering that there were 2 guitars played, the other was played by Andy Fairweather-Low.

Regards,
Gerry

The one I have is by Hal Leonard - the Signature Licks series - and it has a CD with sections of each song played slow and at tempo. I have gotten 3 tunes down so far - Tears in Heaven, Hey Hey, and Before You Accuse Me. I would definitely go for it.
