"Moondance" on a Redwood/Black Locust OM by Mark Gaiero
Hi all,
Hope you're all staying warm and having a good day. I was sent this video from the Woodstock Invitational Luthier's Showcase a few months ago and was particularly impressed with how well they captured the tone of this guitar from one of my new favorite luthiers, Mark Gaiero. He is a previous Ervin Somogyi apprentice but his sound his vastly difference from all the other apprentice builder's guitars I have demo'd at Cedar Rock and other shows. Very clean and "round", I thought. This is my arrangement of the popular Van Morrison tune Moondance, in standard tuning :-) I do offer Zoom lessons or video recordings to learn this tune, if interested.
