Rick Beato's "Top 20 Acoustic Guitar Intros of All Time":
He has a bunch of other "best intro" shows - bass, electric guitar, etc etc - but this one seems most appropriate for AGF.

I never thought much of the intro, but now that you mention it....very cool!
I remember when that song hit the airwaves. It was SO DIFFERENT from anything they had done to that point. We all loved to hate it.....then hated to love it.....then realized it was just a great song by a great band. thanks for sharing that!

Zombie Thread...
I know I voted for Lou Reed previously. I broke out some old vinyl the other day and listened to this. Gets my vote now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjWGr-h8ETA |

Don't know if you're talking about intro to a song or not, but my 2 favorite are the intros to: Hey Tonight by CCR and Solitary Man by Neil Diamond |

So far as acoustic intros go, "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" is STILL very effective! I can remember what it was like, hearing that for the very first time, back when that first album came out...
Also, if you want to talk "outros", the ending of this one - with the vocal punchline! - still ranks among the most moving outros ever!
