Yeah, his interview with Anthony Mason was on CBS this morning. He said that indeed he's lost most of his hearing in his left ear. He thought that this last show at Newport might be his last full band show (it was hard to hear what was happening around him), but didn't say a whole lot about future writings/recordings.

But he did infer that he is "addicted" to the dopamine rush he gets when the inspiration consumes him! I think he is going to continue

Man, I wish I could make my Gurian S3 sound like that. Now, though, it’s my high-strung guitar, and I love what it gives me.

I like knowing I’m listening to one of the few Gurians in existence when I hear Seven Psalms. I wasn’t sure before I saw this; I thought he was using the signature Martin because it’s the one you see in publicity photos.

A relic for sure.
