Default Black Is The Colour (slide show added)

A fun piece to learn. I don't do it justice, but I gave it a try. I've been working on this for a little over a week, along with some other tunes mixed in from time to time. I'm only good for working on something for a week or so usually. Occasionally I really want to get something down so I'll work on it over a couple months, but with breaks.

The arrangement is by Ulli Bogershausen.

The tune is in standard with a capo on 4, but I'm tuned down a full step.

I played the Pellerin and used WA 14 and WA 47 Jr mics into my Zoom H5. I have a Zoom F3 on the way. It will be interesting to see if there is any change in my recording quality. Hopefully.

Black Is The Colour:

Here's a slide show...

That was lovely, Barry!

I remember learning to play this song very early on in my playing life. I haven't heard this song played in decades. You did a beautiful job!

Really nice Barry. A lot going on in that one, and you did it proud. The guitar sounded great. Well done.

Like it! Wish I could do justice to a tune in a week's time.
