Shanahan made me laugh, calling time out back to back with 30 seconds to go, game out of reach and KC with the ball.

Shanahan has been outscored something like 46-0 after the third quarter in Superbowls as head coach or OC. He's also had a double digit lead going into the fourth quarter both times and has chosen to pass 21 out of 30 plays run after the third quarter. And, I believe, he has got one first down and turned it over twice on all drives after the third quarter.

That dude needs to evaluate what he's doing late in the game.

Oh, and he should have called a timeout as the first half was winding down and his defense made the stop with enough time for the offence to make a go for some points. Nope. Ahh!... why not!

I think Reid's generally well deserved reputation for terrible late game clock management jumped out of his body and into Shanahan's. Reid is now free to dominate for a few years with Mahomes and the Niners will get perennially close...

Why was he doing this? I couldn’t figure it out. I thought it was disrespectful, pointless, and annoying.

The torch has been passed. Andy is now officially off the hook and Shanahan is the new king of time mis-management.

I only got to watch the 2nd half. I enjoyed watching and while I was hoping for a 49ers win,I'm happy for the Chiefs and Andy Reid.

+1. I called that timeout from my couch and I was shocked when he didn't hear me.

Congrats to Mahomes and the Chiefs.

As for Super Bowls, it was one of the best in recent memory just in terms of the game. I thought San Frans defense would win out, but in the end KC found a way to get some big plays when they needed them.

Always had respect for the Royals.
Football is the Bears & Northwestern, nothing else matters or exists.
Well okay, Green Bay . . .
