I have a hard time getting used to the idea of Martin slope shoulders, even if they have made them in the past. I see a slope shoulder, I think "Gibson."

I agree! I realize sound is very subjective. I was after a Whisky Sunset 000-17 forever but never saw one in my local shops. Finally, I ordered one got it, played it it immediately went back in the box and was sent back.
