Default Hand made drum

I recently made a hand drum out of elk skin with a Yaqui Indian who supervised. It came out awesome! FYI I think the Meinl drum bags look pretty solid for travel. I am a little weary of taking it on a plane as it is an 18 inch drum and I don't think it will fit overhead. So I plan to put Fragile labels all over the case and gate check it if I have to.

Sounds neat. My drum teacher does cool things like this, though he's more on the Renaissance era bent.

Picture?

Nice job! That type drum gets used in a lot of different cultures. You would not be out of place in a Irish Folk band with that.
