My song made the SongStar contest semifinals
Just sharing a little good news here... my song Whisper Something made the semifinals in the Fall 2018 SongStar songwriting contest, announced about a week ago. I have no idea how many entries there were or what huge or small percentage of entries made the semis, but I’ll call it good news either way. The finalists get announced tomorrow and of course that would be a lot of frosting on an already frosted cake. You can hear the full version of it on my website — link below — if you want. Well the top 20 finalists were identified, as well as a grand award winner, but I didn’t make that cut. Still, my being a semi-finalist put me in the top 5% of all entries received, according to their judges. I’ll take that.
Onward and upward...
