S. Kinnaird OM DB - Myrtle/Bearclaw --SALE PENDING
Incredible 2015 build from Stephen Kinnaird. This deep-bodied OM features amazing Oregon myrtlewood back & sides, topped off with equally-impressive Bearclaw sitka spruce.
The sound is best-described as deep, full, articulate and piano-like. The extra-deep body really pushes out the lows. Condition is 9.9/10. Other specs: Bocote bindings Ball & Lozenge rosette Ryan-style arm bevel with Bocote veneer Bound sound port Ebony fingerboard and bridge Gotoh Delta 510 cosmo black tuners with Ebony buttons 1-3/4" nut width 2-1/4" saddle string spacing Depth: @ neck: 3 7/8" @ bottom: 4 5/8" 25.4" scale length 2-way truss rod with double carbon fiber bars along rod "42" style fingerboard inlays in white pearl Neck dart Gold EVO fret wire No electronics Comes with a TKL hardshell case, though it is not the original one for this guitar. It is slightly over-sized, but functions as it should. Music sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3lcFVeH1iA&t=3s AGF PRICE: $ALE PENDING No trades on this one.

I was just playing my Kinnaird SJ and noting how remarkable it is.
This is an outstanding guitar and Steve and Ryan know what they are doing. Great guys too.

Not sure. It looks like bocote in the center strip, looks like curly maple in the middle sections, but not sure about the outer sections. It's a 5-piece laminate. My guess would be the neck is maple, but I can't be sure. I've never heard of a neck being myrlte.

Wow, I’m pretty much a traditional guy but this is just silly pretty. I’d love to hear a sound clip of Myrtle.
