Very nice, indeed, Kyle. Your voice does JB well.

So what will part 3 be? These Days? The Pretender? Ready or Not?

Hey Kyle,

Another one to give positive comments on. I really enjoyed the opening with the subtle fingerpicking. I felt you loosened up as the song progressed. Your vocals and the guitar fit well with each other.

Splendid performance Kyle. Perfect touch guitar and vocal. One of the best in your sotw series, IMO. Enjoyed! Mark

I just noticed for first time how nice that 716 looks. I love the looks (and sound) of a cedar topped taylor.

Hey Kyle... Very nice as always. I'm waiting for a Fogelberg trilogy . I love a bunch of his obscure (less radio played) acoustic tunes, not that everyone else does . Keep up the good work!

Haha! Thanks Steve. However, that Forg has to stay because it's not mine. It's my wife's, and so I have no control over the situation.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks Rob! I really like singing these JB tunes, so I guess it works out!
As for part 3, "These Days" is out, since I already covered it a few weeks ago. And your other two guesses aren't it, either. Although I do like "The Pretender" and might add it to the hopper down the line. I actually don't know what the final JB song will be. I have two that I'm working on and I just don't know which one will emerge into finality within the next week. We shall see!

Thanks for watching.

Thanks Tom! Always nice to have you tune in for the latest video. I did get more comfortable as the song went on. It's funny, because this was about the 6th or 7th take because I just kept hanging up. I usually get these songs down in 1 or 2 takes. I think I was just a little rushed on this one, or had other things on the brain (wifey).

Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks Mark! I'm glad you liked it. This is one of my favorite JB songs to listen to and perform.

My guitar actually has a sitka top. It's a limited edition from spring 2009, so the back is Madagascar Rosewood and the top is sitka. (see the link for it in my signature) The top has darkened a bit since I got it new two years ago, so it might look a little like Cedar. The standard 716ce's are great guitars, though. I do like a nice, warm, cedar-topped guitar.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks Ryan! I appreciate it.

Not sure about a Fogelberg trilogy. I like a number of his songs, but I can never seem to play one to where it feels right. He was something else! I'll have to go back and see if I can't find something a little more up my alley guitar-wise. Stay tuned!

Thanks for watching!
