Big thumbs up, RP. My number was 300 points lower than yours, and the doctor said it needed to be addressed now. In a month, it was down enough that he told me to "only take the reading a couple times a week... and treat yourself to a nice dessert once in a while."

I think treating yourself to a couple nice guitars is easily justified. While we did briefly discuss guitar playing (I told him I take the blood poke from my right fingers so it didn't mess with my calluses), he didn't prescribe a new guitar for me.

No sign of one on Facebook or YouTube. I’d imagine they’re closed for Christmas and New Year.

My X20 order with Kev was firmed up yesterday. This forum helped so much in my choice.
Hope to see it on the shipping video in 2 months or so.

Sorry to break your bubble, but delivery will probably be closer to "or so."

Anyone know how long it takes them to build a guitar once it's started?

It probably depends greatly on how many instruments are in the pipeline ahead of you...

See the FAQ.

Q: How long does it take to get an Emerald Guitar?
A: We usually carry a wide array of finished stock that can be shipped out immediately. Custom builds will currently take approximately 2 months

Thanks but that was not my question. My question was how long it takes them to build a guitar once it has started.

I've never seen actual build time discussed or mentioned anywhere. You can always ask Emerald.

I am curious about why you want to know.

Mostly general curiosity compared to custom wood but also because mine has started construction.

Since Emeralds are built by different workers on an assembly line basis, I'll stick with my previous answer...

That’s perfectly understandable
