Default Christmas album I released last year

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lP7...0_6v88&index=5

I actually did these arrangements back in the '90s on a 4-track Yamaha cassette recorder with send / return loop through a Zoom 1201 processor. Pretty good home equipment at the time. Converted it all to digital last year, tweaked a bit, and figured I might as well get it out there. I use Catapult Distribution for my albums and Easy Song Licensing for any covers not in the public domain.

The original idea back in the mid-90s was to submit a few pieces for consideration by Windham Hill, since it was the era of annual Winter Solstice Samplers. Unfortunately, Will (Ackerman) was always inundated with too many requests so I got a very nice form letter back that essentially conveyed 'thanks, but no thanks'. Then, the music sat dormant up until last year. I covered one of Will's pieces on the album - "Abide the Winter" as well as a few others from various WH Christmas compilations.

Thanks for listening and best wishes for Happy Holidays!

Mystical atmosphere. Does put you in the mood of the holidays.

Nice! Reminds me of the Phil Keaggy Christmas albums of years past.

Rick-slo and Stevien, thanks for your kind words. I appreciate your taking the time to listen. I admittedly went a bit heavy on the overdubs, but it was my first foray into any sort of recording so got a bit carried away I suppose!
