Maybe by Christmas?
You know what this means, Dave: if you receive that wonderful box, and we’re in winter conditions, you’ll have to wait a FULL 24 hours for it to warm up and acclimate! Can you handle it? Rick PS - I’m not sure that I can. I have told several people to chain me to the wall to keep me from opening the box too soon! PPS - hope one of those necks was mine... no recent pictures here.

More pics to be posted in the next few days!!
I have everything shipped to my work, so I've gotten use to looking at boxes for hours. Luckily a guy I work with is a bass/guitar player so we keep each other calm about these things (and enable each other's purchases, also!) . First measurable snowfall tomorrow here... winter is about to get real. Sorry to hear you haven't got any updated pics yet. Hopefully soon. The pics I'm posting in the next few days will give you the fever. They do me. |

Continuing on from yesterdays neck post,
Truss rod installed: Headplate ready to install: Shaping the headstock: (It just occurred to me that if you are reading this thread, chances are you know what's happening in these pics! ) The result. And a little piece that goes on the other end of the strings! Discuss! |

It's funny, Dave, we spend so much time obsessing about the top, the back, the wood, and the bracing of our beasts, when the neck is truly the prime interface between your fingers and the instrument. And you can't deviate very far from certain measurements, because that's just the way the human hand is.
So hey - it's a nice neck! best, Rick

Rick, Your guitar has a lot more going on with it than my, pretty much 'plain' F35. Can't wait to see updates with that guitar.
Can't wait to see this wood under a finish! |

Dave - looks great! She’s a beauty. I wonder what happened to the F35 with the serial number right after yours?

Great looking F-35 !
I have one from 2014 that has a burst very close to yours. Dale's guitars are amazingly light and lively. You're going to love it.
