Collings D2HASBT- Another price drop
For Sale is a 2019 Collings D2HASB(T) Traditional model in excellent condition. AGF price: $4900, trade value $5500.
Lots of terrific Collings acronyms on this one....haha. The traditional model really tones down the Collings wide open sound and brings a lot of warmth and nice overtones. It's really a terrific sounding instrument for all styles of music. The Adirondack top is really starting to open up but will continue to improve. Visually, this might be the most attractive guitar I've ever owned. I've always been a fan of the Collings sunburst work and this one is really spectacular. The rosewood on this one is really attractive. The condition is excellent. There a handful of finish swirls that I could not effectively photograph. Other than that, I could not find a flaw anywhere on the instrument. Frets are in great shape and still retains the factory set up. Very playable with the 1 3/4 inch nut and the traditional model neck. Comes with the Collings TKL case, but can upgrade to the Collings-made case for an additional $700. They don't make these cases anymore. The cases are spectacular and a site to behold themselves. I will not sell the case separately. Specs are listed below. Would consider trades for banner LG-2s, 40s D-18s. I would also consider a Collings om1a or mahogany backed modern Martins. I would really like to get another ceo 7.
