Default Monteleone build in pictures

This is probably where I should have posted this in the first place, but whatever......

As John built this for me he texted pictures, and I clumsily fashioned a video montage with the audio (from my CD The Rhytalin Kid) recorded with the finished guitar, a week after its completion. I wish the audio were up to snuff, but you'll get the idea.

Here's my Monteleone LaCorsa 00-12 playing 'Loki's Lament', with photos from April 1 - June 4, 2020.

Hi Tim,
Well thanks, but I owe it all to John for sending the pictures, and then to the iMovie program for making it all too easy to get in way too deep.

It would NOT send the video file to Youtube. I somehow decided to send it to myself via email....THAT it did!!!

Then I just uploaded from my phone to Youtube.

Regards,
Howard

Great song.

I love Monteleone’s design sensibilities with his flattops. Would love to see one in person someday. Think I saw a Hot Club under glass at Rudy’s once, but can’t remember. Works of art. Congrats and enjoy!

Here's a screen shot from a video shoot done at John's. I'm playing Woody Mann's Hot Club:

And here on stage with Woody playing one of John's rosewood Hotclubs:

Howard, what a terrific and completely unique sound from that guitar! Like nothing I’ve heard—almost like a chorus effect on bells, clear and yet complex. That is so well done, player and builder. Quite an impression!

Wow, very cool! Woody's arrangement of Delia is one of my favorite videos on youtube and I remember being instantly struck by the look and sound of that guitar. That was before I knew Monteleone made flattops

I saw Woody play one his archtops at the Old Stone House in Park Slope about 5 years ago. Perhaps you were there? I was hoping he'd play the Hot Club.

Woody is on another level no matter what he does.

Scary & inspiring at the same time.
