Wow, Glenn!!! Emma sings so beautifully! What a talent!!
Your guitar playing was excellent too, but in this case, I'm afraid you were overshadowed! (I'm sure you don't mind that a bit, either!)

Thanks for sharing with us, made my whole afternoon!

Thank you so much for your kind comments, Larry! I'm so glad you appreciate this performance! And thank you for taking the time!

And no, I didn't mind at all that Emma was the center of attention in this video! That's right where I'd like her to be!

I hope all is going well for you, Larry!

Beautiful!

I’m obviously late to the game on commenting on this one…. Good reason for all the nice comments. You never fail to impress, Glenn.

You’re lucky to have a grandchild with a love for music and a beautiful voice!

And your playing and tone sound fantastic - as always!

Hi Marty!

Thank you for your generous comments! Very much appreciated! I'm really glad you like how this came out and that you appreciate Emma's singing! I'm also pleased that you think I did okay on the accompaniment! I am very lucky...

Emma, my grand daughter, is singing this song with my guitar accompaniment. Thank you Emma!

The guitar arrangement is my own based on transposed chords from the original key of Eb, which I found in a rather ancient jazz fake book I inherited from my mother-in-law. I am playing this in C with a capo on the first fret (C#). For reference, I believe that Judy Garland sang this in C for "The Wizard of Oz."

Thank you for listening!

Emma & Glenn, Thanks for this wonderful rendition of "Over The Rainbow." A previous version that appealed to me the most was sung by Don Potter, who gained local fame and went on to Nashville and was associated with The Judds. Emma and your rendition meld a nice mix of the traditional version and newer. Again, Thanks!

Thank you Klim!

I'm so glad you appreciated so much of this performance and video! The guitar part was a little challenging, but it would have been a waste of effort without Emma's voice. I'm so glad she could do this with me. Thanks so much for your kind comments, Klim!

I hope you are well!

Thanks so much SpruceTop!

I'm so glad you thought this worked out well! I hope people are still listening to this out in the future somewhere. That would be really wonderful! In the meantime, thank you, SpruceTop for taking your time to listen and comment!

Be well out there!
