How would you play this part?

The song is Rocky Raccoon (yes, like my screen name here ). I trust most folks here know it.

I can basically strum and sing it and it’s a good crowd pleaser. But I want to add little doo dads here and there to break up the strumming.

One place is at around the 1:29 mark in the song where there is a harmonica run over the C chord for 2 measures.

I messed around the C major scale to see if I can do something that sounds like the harmonica run but what I came up with kinda sounds lame and wanted to ask if some of you might be able to suggest something.
