It’s hard for me to describe neck profiles. Apparently it’s hard for Santa Cruz too. I looked up their specs and it just says “Round”. To me it’s more of a modern profile. Not a V at all. Not a baseball bat either. Just a wonderful profile, but that may not help you much.

Round would mean it does not have any noticeable ridge or center line, like a V neck would, or a modified V, where you can just feel the centerline. None of their necks are baseball bat-like, unless custom ordered as such, and they’re not common. The round neck and the modified V are most common. Both are very nice - but I kinda prefer the round usually -

No affiliation, but that is a smoking deal IMO. A new one just like it at my local dealer is $6750. GLWS for one of what I think is the the best and most versatile guitars in the SC lineup. If I didn't already have one, I'd snap this up.

Thanks. You are so right. These do go for $6750 new. Santa Cruz is a lot like Collings in that they don’t discount their guitars much.

This Santa Cruz VJ was a custom order for Fullers Guitars. Basically it was a standard order with custom features of Hot Hide Glue, and Adirondack top bracing. It’s the best Santa Cruz I’ve ever played or heard..
