Between the premium pickups, roasted neck, roasted fingerboard, stainless steel frets, locking tuners, and ultra stable Goto trem, this guitar will be a reliable and great sounding/great playing axe for many years! It works great for everything from pop and blues to classic rock and metal! You can cover all your bases with the ten way switching system.

The guitar is pretty much mint. I am the original owner and it's only been used in my home studio. I am in no rush to sell her but I'd like to get an electric with a piezo bridge.

If you bought this guitar from Sweetwater right now, once you paid tax, the price would be above $2120. This one was listed as a b stock model because there is a tiny mark in the finish that is a bit darker than what it should be. Other than that, I could not find a single thing that would warrant a b stock rating! So if you want an amazing guitar at a great price, grab this one while you can!

S-Tech wood roasted maple neck offers stability and durability

The AZ2402’s roasted maple neck was subjected to Ibanez’s S-Tech wood nitrogen-heating treatment, which increases its stability, durability, water resistance,
and tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is then sealed with oil, resulting in a well-played feel. And it’s supremely comfortable — its fingerboard
edge was finished with a smooth curve that extends through the border between the fingerboard and the neck to the fingerboard itself. Beyond that, this
guitar’s AZ oval C-shaped neck fills your hand nicely at the lower frets, while providing a more modern feel when playing up high.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers yield an endless array of tones

a dynamic and clear pick attack. Beyond that, Ibanez’s dyna-MIX10 switching system provides 10 different pickup combinations via a mini toggle and 5-way

Gotoh T1802 tremolo provides excellent tuning stability

Developed in collaboration with Gotoh, the AZ2402’s T1802 bridge features machined titanium saddles and a solid-steel tremolo block, ensuring quick response
and amazing articulation. String skipping and hybrid picking is effortless thanks to narrow string spacing. Loading the guitar’s tremolo arm is a breeze,
by virtue of the T1802’s snap-and-hold socket, and its arm torque adjuster allows for fine adjustments without any tools. The T1802’s stud lock screws
