We’d have snow in central Alabama if we had some precipitation

Hi Horse. Here is northeast Ohio (up I-71 and east on I-76) we've had about 5" of accumulation since it started snowing this afternoon, and it's still coming down quite hard. We're expecting 8" by morning...It will be a nice weekend to stay inside with a bunch of acoustic guitars.

Agree with the "stay in doors and play guitar" scenario. Our St Bernard woke me up at 4AM. Porch covered in snow when I put her out. Since then, I already have about an hour of playing time with this one (thought the thread could use a pic, but not a cold, snowy one).

I miss it out here on the West Coast....I can head up to the mountains, but the *feeling* of having the season change is missing

Three inches of RAIN here in northern CT yesterday. Went to bed last night and it was 56 degrees at 11 PM. Lows tomorrow morning supposed to be 4 degrees. Crazy.

...snipped pic of beautiful guitar...
What a beauty Rodger!

I'll follow your lead and post a pic of the guitar that's monopolizing my "stay in time" today. Just this past week I took delivery of this short-scale, square shoulder Simon and Patrick Showcase Mahogany Dread, and I'm really digging it - I have definitely missed that short scale dread "thump"!

I'll regret saying this. We've had an inch here in Iowa so far. It can go anywhere but here as far as I'm concerned. I can't wait to go south in the winters.

I hear you Horse, I'm on the northeast side of Columbus. I'm finding my neighbors' shoveling makes a nice background rhythm for strumming and picking this morning.

Snow? What is this thing you call "snow"?

All we have is blue skies, brown hillsides, and 5 degree weather. Ugh.

Okay - Enough with the shoveling!

...Back to pickin' an acoustic guitar and watching Game of Thrones on-demand.

Have a great weekend all!
