This is one of the best guitars Taylor ever made. I had one and stupidly traded it on the forum for something I thought would be more sellable. Engelman and Rosewood go so well together. Of all the guitars I’ve sold or traded I regret this one the most. Mine was an 07 with the abalone, but I love the Koa rosette.

Here’s a few pics of mine and with my old D18 I had about 10 years ago.

Indeed. My shoebox with Elixirs sounds pretty amazing.
Here is another Shoebox.... But it's for my boots.

A 1958 Goya M-26 (although the Levin Company called them "Goliaths", not dreadnoughts.)

a 1962 Martin D-21.

I'd love to get my hands on one of those old Sovereigns. I missed my chance when they were undiscovered treasures you could get for $300. People have caught on to how great they are and the prices have gone up.

I think there are 8 dreadnoughts in this picture if you look hard enough.

Great guitars all. Thanks. I've not ever played a Goodall dread but look forward to it. I love the Goodalls I have played.

Just a quick snapshot so I can play, too.
Not much on my schedule these days anyway.

Hippie dreads or rival gang dreads?

Considering the way I've been fumbling/playing over the last week...
More like comic relief dreads.

Which reminds me...I gotta get around to learning the song Blue Shadows from the movie...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViHENVBVbUg

...a fun little tune for dreary days.
