My Taylor 710 fingerpicked, with e-bow, and a little bowed bass sample.
Wow, beautifully done, enjoyed it a lot.

Interesting post-rock/ambient stuff.

Great entries everyone.

My entry #1 (#2 is on the way)-a tune in B minor that I wrote recently with kind of a winter mood in mind.

Mark, that was fantastic! Did you record the backwards guitar or is that an effect? (was that the e-bow?)

Thanks for the very kind words... That was the ebow. Fun, but takes some work on an acoustic to get it to sing. Much easier on an electric.

Here's my holiday medley "Noel / Silent Night" which is an original fingerstyle arrangement of First Noel and Silent Night combined together. There's also some light fiddle accompaniment:

and incase you want the TABS for it:

This is beautiful and quite trance-inducing.

I have been going through thee and I'm quite impressed everyone! Awesome songs this month!

Thanks for the kind words on my song. I hope to have another one before the end of the month.

Just wonderful! The two of you really found a unique and exotic vibe.

Default Joseph's Away In A Manger Blues...

For the last several years when the Christmas season rolled around and with the telling of the Christmas story, I found myself wondering must it have felt like to be Joseph. This is my take. Please pardon a couple of rough spots but I wanted my son to be on this video and recording with me but we only had time for one quick take before he had to be back on the road.

This is fun, lots of very cool things. One more submission, this is a rough recording of an original I've had sitting around for a while. It has a couple winterish references... close enough.

Very nice. Like the guitar tone and the vocal harmonies.

The last entry of mine - "Happy New Year" by ABBA.

Christmas is not as widely celebrated in my country as in western countries, but New Year is huge and most important holiday in Russia and this song is very popular (despite being old). But also it's just a nice song, I like the lyrics and melody, so please enjoy!

J. S. Bach - Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Not terribly original here
