That Royal Ebony deserves a NGD thread of it's own rather than risk getting lost in an only sort of related thread. That's GORGEOUS!

my new x 30 came with the hard shell from emerald and fits perfectly. weights a ton, though.

I tried a Gator rigid foam jumbo case today. The body outline fit fine after making a divot in the foam for the upper bout strap button. Unfortunately, it's about an inch too shallow for the body. The specs say it's 5.5" interior depth, but it just won't work for the X30. That's really a shame cause I love these lightweight cases and it supported the neck nicely.

Thanks, Kevin had stated that the third batch of cases may have a logo like the first batch did.
