19.5 inch scale, laminate, which nylon strings for tension?

Hi

My thoughtful parents just picked up a 19.5 inch scale cheap (surely laminate) Chinese Nylon-string import so that I had something to play at their house. It only has two strings of the 6.

Does anyone have any suggestions for some good strings to get some sound of it? I am a fingerpicking blues player, so I'd prefer some extra tension.
