Default Interesting instrument - sound vents....

Being a port guy, I wonder what this sounds like in person. This dealer is about 2 hours from me. Might have to go sample some of the wares. He's also got a Cervantes Master Rodriguez I'd like to check out!

Recording makes it sound a little thin/harsh, but it may be the equipment or the room.

It is indeed an interesting looking guitar. I'm not sure why the sound Port is on the lower bout.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

They are both on the upper bout - one on the top/treble and one on the back/bass side.

It also has his "acoustic tubes" on either side of the fingerboard extension.

I agree. The guitar seems to me better than how this video made it sound. Would be chancy to buy without trying but it might be a good opportunity to snag a really good hand made guitar if you happen to be in the area.
Would be curious to hear your feedback.
I had never heard of ebony as a back/side wood, and I wonder what kind of spruce is on top.
Definitely a modern slant!

Yeah it looks like an interesting place. He's also got a Keijo Korelin for sale and I've heard many great things about those guitars. The most traditional sounding double-top guitars according to some.

Seems like the audio on all the videos is a little sub-par IMHO.
